Simple and nice, hope the spa day is good!

This spa day was so not what I was expecting! I expected a trained and certified massage therapist and esthetician to be performing my services. Rather, I got a very young girl who told me she "didn't even go to school for this, they just found me". She was a hair stylist. From the beginning, I felt like she was kneading bread on my body and maybe she just got out of school or something so she wasn't that comfortable in her vocation yet. Then it got worse. I've had plenty of facials at upscale salons and this was literally like a 12 year old slumber party facial. And to boot, when I needed to reschedule, the very rude receptionist informed me that if I did, I would forfeit my gift certificate!!! Really?!?!?! I've worked in high end beauty retail sales and salon settings and I never in my life would speak to a guest in this manner. The oddest part of the day came when they handed me a 4oz plastic cup of water when I checked out. This left me dumbfounded. You couldn't even spring for a bottle of water? For the price that was paid for my spa day, I am truly disappointed and I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. I would however be very interested to know if they do employ actual certified therapists, and if not, if that is allowed?
